Dr. Thomas M. Hofacker

Since 2003, Thomas Hofacker has specialized in M&A and private equity, working mainly on the structuring of transactions and the arrangement and negotiation of the transaction documents. In this context, he focuses on transaction tax and corporate law. His clients include private equity funds and their portfolio companies.

Furthermore, he regularly advises portfolio companies on post-acquisition structuring and tax audits, with a particular focus on supporting them in their dealings with the financial authorities.

From 2002 to 2004, Thomas Hofacker held a teaching position at the University of Applied Science in Wiesbaden. He studied law and business administration at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, has been practicing law since 1997 and was certified as a tax advisor (Steuerberater) in 2003.
